Carrot Tomato Soup

*Picture not by me!*
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 1-2 hours

Ingredients

Carrots, chopped
2-3 pieces

Onions, sliced
2 pieces

Tomatoes, chopped
2 pieces

Potatoes, chopped
2 pieces

Pork spareribs, chopped
150 grams

Sweetcorn (Optional)
1-2 pieces

Celery, chopped (Optional)
1 stalk

Salt
2 1/2 teaspoons

Water
500 ml (or make sure the water level is slightly more than enough to submerge all the food ingredients)

Cooking method
  1. Wash and boiled the pork spareribs for approx 5 minutes.
  2. Drained the pork spareribs and leave it aside.
  3. Add in water into a new saucepan to boil.
  4. Add in salt.
  5. Add the rest of the ingredients, including the pork spareribs, to boil.
  6. When the water is boiled, turn off the heat to small flames.
  7. Heat for about 1 - 1 1/2 hours before serving.
Comments: The fire need to be monitored during the boiling stages as it can easily be overflown. Except the carrots, other food ingredients can sometimes do without if you don't like it. Some people may like to add pepper or soup base cubes to taste but I personally prefer the more natural taste and strictly NO MSG... :P
